encourages truth and allows both sides to win. Mediators do not judge or determine
the outcome, rather mediators explore the reasons, underlying interests, and issues
that are preventing solutions. When disputes are resolved using mediation, innovative outcomes emerge and individual integrity is maintained.
Ruth I. Johnson has been a professional mediator for 25 years. Ruth holds
certification by the Washington Mediation Association. She is also certified by the
Thurston and the Lewis County Dispute Resolution Centers of Washington. Ruth is a
strong supporter of mediation as an alternative to litigation.
Ruth has partnered over 400 large highway construction project in 13 states, working with stakeholders on alternative dispute resolution strategies rather than litigation.
