Counselor: As a therapist, Ruth offers counseling for individuals, couples, groups and organizations from a Christian counseling perspective. Ruth holds a master's degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Washington. She is an registered counselor in the State of Washington
Mediator: Ruth provides mediation services for families, businesses, companies, churches, and state agencies. Ruth is certified by the Washington Mediation Association and the Thurston and Lewis County Dispute Resolution Centers of Washington. Ruth is accredited in the State of Washington as a Title 26 Family Law Guardian Ad Litem.
Coach: Ruth provides coaching in assertiveness training, interpersonal communication skills, conflict management skills, and negotiation skills.
Facilitator/ Trainer: Over the past 30 years, Ruth has taught more than 700 training programs for companies and state agencies focused on communication skills, conflict management skills, negotiation strategies, team building, and public contact skills. Ruth has partnered over 400 large highway construction projects in 13 states, working with stakeholders on alternative dispute resolution strategies rather than litigation.
Retreat and Keynote Speaker: Ruth customizes inspirational messages to help people come to a better understanding of the personal dynamics of relationships within the family and church. She offers tools that foster a greater understanding of God, self, and others within those human interactions.
